The person manipulating the visuals on the projector is the conductor (PEAK), and begins with 6 cards (two for each color).
All the players (SLOPE) start off facing the PEAK, their backs turned away from the projector (GROUND ZERO).
The conductor starts the game by giving the first card to the first player.
This player, as those that will follow, has to turn around and face GROUND ZERO, playing in the time indicated by his given color. After more cards are distributed and the first player leads the rest into the Avalanche, the following rules apply:
No player may play until assigned a card from PEAK.
When a player is given a card of the same color of someone facing GROUND ZERO, he trades places with the given person, assuming his position facing GROUND ZERO while the other turns around, returning his card to PEAK.
If the conductor hands out a folded card to a musician, he does not replace the musician of the same color, but instead compliments him, playing in the same time signature.
As the game progresses through different phases where there is first a minimum of 4 cards at the peak, then 3, then 2, then 1... the game ends after all cards arrive (half folded, half unfolded) at the SLOPE.

Installation for 3rd Pyongyang International Arts Festival in Kuala Lumpur

Here's some documentation of a video Installation/ noise performance/video jamming piece made for a show held in a derelict building last week.

This piece is about a power struggle.

During the set up of the installation

The faces were painted on the wall, photographed, and then reflected in the video projection, aligned with the painting, creating the illusion of depth.

During the performance, attempted as an act of 'Sabotaging' the binary interplay between the two faces

This piece is supposed to be diagramatic. I drew inspiration from the Rube Goldberg-esque quality of Duchamp's Bride Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors and the crassness of medical infographics seen at education fair.

One mouth is full of insects, the other full of shells. There are coins attached to where the eyes are supposed to be. As the video is played, ticking sounds can be heard. The scissor-part on the timepiece jerks ever so slightly, seemingly suspended in time.

The baby, wrapped up and and laid by the sea.

The workshop can get pretty fucking dull on Tuesdays. 6-hour-long Proofreading and Meditation Sessions. And no coffee. I spend most of my time in the Stru Xus warehouse existing inside my head. (Where else am I going to find space? In my father's shadows projected in criss-crossing loops on the walls in this partitioned warehouse with no windows? Please. This place is as much of an institution as the building they took him to when they decided to perform state-sanctioned acupuncture on his character during ratings week.)

Abby recites the mantra which originates from something one of my father's captors is rumored to have whispered in his ear when he pressed a needle into his left eye: Act that you're just pretending to bleed.

“You're just pretending to bleed.” said Abby. The irony being a week ago she said she couldn't sleep with me because she was having her period.

“We are just pretending to bleed.” said the couple who sat on the discarded bedet on the dirt floor. One of them had let me have his armchair at the beginning of the session. Bunch of cogsuckers. As if I want a group of lackeys who follow me around because they got off when they tortured my dad. You lot weren't so reverential during ratings week. Admit it... you assholes just wanted to see if the Michelin Man would pop if they stuck enough needles in him.

I must admit I don't think highly of the old man myself. All he did was get pricked and go into hiding. Where's the fun in that?

“You're just pretending to bleed.” said Abby. Two nights before she told me my cock was bent in a weird way, like a question mark. I told her better a question mark than a period, and she said she had heard that joke before, except that the punchline was revolved around something about virgin's blood and the mark of the Beast. “It's pretty much the same sexist joke, though.” she concluded, and I went down on her.

I'm bored here.

During the rare occasion in which I live in the moment I'm distracted again by the Chinese girl outside my head who sits two drones away from me chanting an octave higher than the rest. I've seen her in anti-foundation rallies. Amoi's into all kinds of wacko conspiracy theories, but boy is she full-figured. She crosses and uncrosses her milk-fed thighs as a small, thin jet of the old man's blood overlap each other on the floor, creating red grids between the circle we had formed. Babe could infect me any day of the week.
